The "Battle of Elizabethtown" To Be Held May 31st"

       The next Hub City Tournament, "The Battle of Elizabethtown" will be held on May 31st and again it will be held at the Family Buffet in Elizabethtown, Kentucky!

       Last year the event was won by Chris Bush with Mike Thomas, Steve Dillard and Jennifer Ishee tieing for 2nd place!

Ken McDonald Takes First Place In The Shamrock Open!

            Fourteen players participated in the 2014 Shamrock Open held in Elizabethtown on March 22, 2014. Kenneth McDonald took first place with a score of 3.5-0.5! USCF expert Mike Thomas and Jacob Hill tied for second place with a score of 3-1.

            Congratulations to Amy Nunn for first place in the Under 1400!  She went on to gain 107 rating points!

            KCA president Randas Burns dropped by and played a game with Justin Brown who received a bye in the last round.
